Our Chiropractic Techniques
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our judgment and years of experience.

Instrument Adjusting
There are several ways to adjust the spine to correct Vertebral Subluxation. We use two different types of low force adjusting instruments in our clinic, the Activator and the Integrator.
The Adjusting Instruments are a handheld spring-loaded tool that delivers a consistent low-force, high-speed thrust. Because they are many times faster than adjustments delivered by hand, the body rarely tightens to resist, making adjustments comfortable and effective.
Digital Posture Analysis and Measurement
Posture is very important, it provides a “window” to your spine. Misalignments that we see on a posture exam can give clues to the condition and position of the spine. We use a program that analyses your posture, and allows us to measure the postural displacements. This allows us to measure your posture at the beginning of your care, analyze it, and give specific exercises to correct it. As your care progresses, we have an objective measure to monitor your posture changes. It is just one of the many outcomes and goals we use to monitor your progress at Zavitz Family Chiropractic.
If you’ve been to a chiropractor before and prefer to be adjusted in a particular way, let Dr. Zavitz know. We want you to relax, enjoy and fully benefit from your chiropractic care. Take a look to see what to expect when you visit our office.
